Kyotop Damascus Series
Ceramic Knives
Kyocera's Premium Line
of Ceramic Knives
Kyocera's newest premium cutlery line features a stunning Damascus-look
pattern on the blades. Close in hardness to diamond, these advanced
ceramic knives feature "HIP" (Hot Isostatic Pressed) blades fired a
second time at a higher temperature and pressure for greater density. As a
result, the HIP blade offers increased wear-resistance.
Moisture-resistant, 3-riveted handles are made from durable Pakka wood.
The hand-finished blades are then polished and packed into elegant black
presentation boxes.
Features and Benefits:
- Unrelenting Sharpness: The strength and density of advanced
ceramic allow grinding to microscopic precision by diamond wheels.
This hardness translates into a rock-like edge that will not roll like steel
blades. Edge retention is the most significant benefit of using
blades, which stays razor-sharp 10 times longer than conventional steel
blades, including high carbon steels.
- Unparalleled Purity: Ceramic is a pure and healthy
alternative. Unlike steel blades, ceramic blades will never rust or
change from its natural state. It is totally impervious to acids,
juices, oils, salt or other elements. As a result, it will never alter
the taste, smell or appearance of food.
- Ultra Lightweight: Kyocera ceramic cutlery is typically half the
weight of traditional knives. Because no artificial weight is added,
this creates an extremely balanced, lightweight tool that becomes a
comfortable extension of the hand, reducing fatigue during long, repetitive
cutting tasks.
- Easy Maintenance: Ceramic does not absorb any food elements; a
quick rinse and wipe with a kitchen towel after use is all that's
needed. When these exceptional knives eventually do need to be
resharpened, Kyocera offers complimentary re-sharpening with a nominal
shipping & handling fee.
